Judge Michael W. Noble was appointed the 22nd Circuit's Drug Court Commissioner in October 2007. He was retained in 2011. Judge Noble was appointed by Gov. Nixon as associate circuit judge March 2013. He was appointed circuit judge in November 2015. Retained in 2018.

Judge Noble served as field artillery officer in both the United States Army from 1988 to 1992 and the Army Reserves from 1996 to 2003. He was a patent agent and attorney for Armstrong Teasdale from 2001 to 2006 and an assistant public defender in St. Louis from 2006  to 2007. Judge Noble is a past president of the Missouri Association of Drug Court Professionals.

He graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, in 1988. He earned his juris doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in 2004. He is married with two children.
